Ranking reflects InXpress’ growth, financial strength and stability
InXpress was ranked No. 47 among Entrepreneur magazine’s top 200 global franchises for 2015, in recognition of our global shipping franchise’s continued global expansion.
“Only companies seeking new franchisees outside the U.S. and with a minimum of five open international locations were considered for this ranking,” Entrepreneur wrote. “To compile our list, we started with each company’s 2015 Franchise 500® score — based on objective, quantifiable criteria including system size, growth and financial strength and stability — then adjusted to give extra weight to international size and growth.”
Our company was actually started in the U.K. in 1999, and we opened our first franchise in the United States in 2006 when our now-CEO Dustin Hansen started an InXpress franchise in Atlanta, which he still owns today. We now have nearly 100 franchises in the U.S. and 300 around the world.
InXpress focuses on the underserved niche of small to medium-sized businesses that have ongoing shipping needs but aren’t big enough to qualify for discounts from big carriers. InXpress partners with international heavyweight DHL and 48 other carriers, and uses the combined buying power of thousands of small businesses to secure discounted rates that are normally only available to Fortune 1000 companies. By working with InXpress, customers save money and also receive personal service.
Our business model is appealing to franchisees because it’s simple: the franchisee sells the service to the customer, the carriers provide the pickup and delivery of the packages, the InXpress corporate team handles the billing and collections, then the franchisee provides the local personalized customer service. Franchisees never touch the boxes.
The InXpress leadership team is able to mentor and coach our franchisees based on their own experiences — they’re all franchise owners, too. Since ours is a home-based franchise, the business has a low entry cost and little to no overhead. InXpress franchisees find it easy to invest and scale up, adding customer service and sales reps as they grow.
